Women tend to have symptoms not related to chest pain. These can include:
- Shortness of breath with or without chest pain
- Pain or discomfort in the jaw, neck, back, and one or both arms
- Feeling lightheaded, unusually tired or nauseous
- Breaking out in a cold sweat
- Heartburn or Indigestion
- Chest pain may be described as a pressure, fullness, squeezing or tightness
Even when the signs are subtle, the consequences can be deadly if the person doesn’t get help right away.
